Trunk tip: The end of an elephant’s trunk has two opposing finger-like extensions called “finger pads” that can be used to pick up small items. Long: An elephant’s trunk can grow up to 2 meters in length, allowing it to reach high branches and water sources. Unique: Each elephant has a unique trunk, much like a human fingerprint, which can be used to identify individual elephants.
